£25-30,000 plus OTE

My client is a leading commercial recruitment agency based in Central Southampton.  With a continual growth plan my client is looking to hire an additional member of staff to an already successful team of temp and perm recruiters.  

The role:

  • A full time permanent recruiter working the South Coast market, within the Commercial sector
  • You will be responsible for developing an already busy desk by way of business development
  • There is NO client ownership, only candidate ownership
  • You will inherit LIVE roles and EXISTING clients from day one!
  • A sensible annual target of £100,000 with healthy commission and team bonus paid from day one!
  • An opportunity to lead a small team dependant on your experience

  • You will be expected to create your reputation in the market place by way of attending networking events
  • To be able to generate your own candidate database by usual and innovative candidate attractions methods

The person:

  • Must have current recruitment experience specifically perm but not necessarily commercial
  • Will be able to demonstrate 24 months worth of billings
  • Can articulate yourself well and be confident in your ability to manage and build a desk
  • Be ready to take your next recruitment challenge, perhaps you are currently a recruiter looking for a senior role!
  • Able to write clear and concise adverts and demonstrate your ability to understand a clients requirements

Circa £40k OTE for achieving target

Set up over 15 years ago, our client is a leading specialist in the office support recruitment sector with an enviable reputation and a client list to match. With a stable team, we are looking to add an additional recruiter to the commercial temporary team due to the success of the past 12 months.

The role:

  • From day one you will be able to work on any live role within the business as ownership falls with candidates as opposed to clients
  • Undertaking both account management and also business development activity through contacting any old or lapsed clients to re-introduce the company services
  • Constantly looking at cross-selling opportunities to support the permanent recruitment team
  • Conducting service level reviews and reviewing existing terms of business to ensure that they are in line with company expectations
  • Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Undertaking a proactive candidate search for each new assignment taken on – utilising linkedin and headhunting methods and sharing best practice with other recruiters in the business
  • Working in an existing team of 3 towards achieving monthly team targets and therefore commission

The person:

  • Ideally you will have recruitment experience but we will also be able to consider applications from those individuals with a strong sales and new business development background who may be looking for a break in to recruitment
  • Strong sales coupled with account management skills – and a customer is always right mentality
  • A strong team player
  • Results and target driven
  • You will need to drive with access to a vehicle in order to conduct regular client and candidate meetings
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoke
