They are undergoing a period of intense growth strengthening both their contract and also permanent teams and we have an opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join their water division.

The role:

  • Working very closely with a contract recruiter you will develop new clients in the industrial water treatment industry UK wide seeking out permanent recruitment roles
  • Developing relationships through cold calling and also conducting face to face client meetings
  • Representing the brand in a professional manner and maintaining high levels of quality over quantity
  • Creating a talent pool of candidates UK wide
  • Utilising search methods to seek out hard to find candidates
  • Working towards monthly revenue targets

The person:

  • For this role we are looking for a seasoned recruiter with upwards of 2 years experience
  • Whilst water recruitment experience is not essential, we would ideally like to talk to engineering recruiters or those from a more technical background
  • You will need to immerse yourself in the industry and take a real interest in reading articles, blogs, joining relevant groups etc to set yourself apart as a true expert in your field
  • Confident approach to be able to liaise at director level
  • A team player is essential as you will be working closely with your contract counterpart
  • A stable recruitment career is essential as this role does require time and effort to develop

A very rare opportunity to join a leading engineering recruitment business as a senior manager. You will inherit and manage a team of around 14 consultants who focus on both permanent and contract recruitment solutions and will drive the business and teams forward by leading by example.

The role:

  • Day to day management responsibility for a team of 14 with a direct reporting line in to the managing director
  • Leading by example in business development activity
  • Working closely with senior /team leaders conducting appraisals and one to one meetings on a weekly basis
  • Attending client visits with consultants and acting in a coaching and mentoring capacity
  • Taking full responsibility for the success of your divisions and looking at succession planning and career development
  • Understanding your key market sectors of civil engineering, structural engineering, building services, facilities management and maintenance

The person:

  • We can only accept applications from managers who can already demonstrate success in managing teams of 8 staff upwards
  • A strong focus on business development activity with a proven track record of increasing the productivity of both new and long serving consultants
  • An understanding of both permanent and contract recruitment
  • Success in building new teams and hiring and training junior members of staff
  • A minimum of 5 years recruitment experience with 3 of those spent in a management capacity

The role:

  • You will manage a team of around 5 experienced recruiters, who don’t need babysitting, but do require someone to lead from the front
  • Taking full responsibility for the budget for this particular area, you will drive business forward with regards to new client development and attending meetings with your consultants
  • Mentoring and developing new hires to the team
  • Picking up the phone and arranging meetings with new clients
  • Running regular 1-2-1 meetings with your team and assessing team and individual performance
  • Hands-on approach to management

The person:

  • You are most likely a senior consultant or team leader right now, ideally within white collar technical recruitment. Your biggest frustration is trying to manage a team and also worrying about your own monthly targets – which is more important!
  • A strong background and understanding of white collar technical recruitment is ideal, perhaps structural engineering, building services, built environment, oil and gas, design, MEP etc
  • A strong business developer who can demonstrate new client wins and be able to talk the process through at interview
  • Ambitious, perhaps looking for an opportunity to take on a team and to grow further with longer term aspirations of a director role

The role:

  • Working as a candidate resourcer supporting the successful white collar MEP division (mechanical, electrical and plumbing)
  • You will take a proactive approach in sourcing candidates and ensuring that you take them through a detailed screening process
  • Matching candidates to existing roles and discussing suitable applicants with the recruitment consultant
  • Utilising a plethora of tools at your disposal including linkedin, job boards, social media, networking, candidate referrals and asking each candidate “who do you know”
  • Gaining an indepth understanding of your market in order to present yourself as a subject matter expert
  • Working in a team environment where you will adopt an attitude of “roll up your sleeves” and help out with other duties or on other divisions as and when required

The person:

The role:

  • Working in a highly successful team you will work closely with the director to build relationships with UK clients for the provision of permanent civil engineering recruitment solutions
  • Attending client visits initially with a director or senior consultant, these are professional relationships dealing with white collar professionals
  • Taking detailed job descriptions to ensure that you can conduct a detailed search
  • Working on average placement fee of circa £8-10k per candidate
  • Utilising headhunting and proactive search methods to reach those hard to find candidates
  • Business development is paramount but you will have the benefit of contacting warm clients who will be aware of the business in most cases through their international relationships

The person:

  • We are seeking a recruiter with upwards of 18 months recruitment experience and an understanding of the permanent recruitment process
  • This is a stand alone role where you will receive initial guidance and training but then will need to focus on developing your desk without the need for a daily manager
  • Strong communication skills will be needed as is a confidence to deal at director level
  • We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate stability in their career to date and not someone who moves every 12 months. This desk requires an individual to take a long term view as results will come with time
