The role:

  • From the outset you will work closely with one of the owners of the business to ensure that your business development focus is strategic
  • You will start by focusing on candidates to ensure that you learn your industry and market sector and can build up a talent pool of candidates to take to market
  • You will recruit for premium brands in the technology sector and will benefit from a combined 20 plus years knowledge in the market
  • A remit to build your own desk of clients and to become a true subject matter expert
  • An emphasis will be placed on face to face meetings initially with the support of a director
  • Ensuring that candidates are treated with the utmost respect and are either met face to face or indepth skype calls are conducted

The person:

  • Whilst a degree would be welcomed, a strong education background is a must with good grades at GCSE /A -Level
  • You will need to live a reasonable commuting distance from Winchester
  • We are looking for a minimum of 6 months recruitment experience ideally in a professional services market sector such as IT, accountancy, HR, procurement but other sectors will be considered
  • An individual who thinks outside of the box and has ideas to be shared
  • Ambitious, someone who wants to be a part of something exciting and can see the benefits as opposed to the risks of joining a young but thriving business

Our client is a global provider of IT services and recruitment and they now have a fabulous opportunity for someone to join their recruitment division in the role of resourcer. This is a key role that supports the 360 recruitment team and also account managers with providing a constant flow of suitably screened candidates – both permanent and also contract.

The role:

  • Contacting potential candidates to discuss job roles in great detail
  • Add new job vacancies to the company database, tracking activity
  • Write and advertise new roles on company and other job sites
  • Conduct indepth searches to match suitable candidates to live roles
  • Undertake a detailed screening of candidates to ensure a true match discussing the details of the role and then updating all internal systems
  • Write a candidate profile and submit to the relevant account manager outlining the reasons why the candidate is suitable
  • Manage the recruitment process from booking of interviews to taking final job offers and discussing with the candidate
  • Providing feedback to candidate and client through the process

The person:

  • Ideally we are looking for an individual with a strong sales background or exposure to recruitment
  • You will ideally be educated to at least A level and with an interest in the IT and Technology industry sector
  • Excellent communication and written skills are vitally important
  • A strong team player who is willing to listen and to learn all aspects of the resourcer role
  • A driver with own car is a requirement due to the location of the role

This is a business that has deliberately set out to be different from the big corporate feel where KPI’s are set loosely and recruiters are treated like grown-ups.

The role:

  • Working closely with the head of permanent recruitment to map out your market
  • Utilising intelligent and strategic business development techniques as opposed to cold calling
  • Building a talent pool of IT candidates across the South Coast
  • Networking and market mapping
  • Successfully delivering a recruitment solution that is tailored to the client’s needs
  • Running your own desk without the pressure of weekly KPIs – being treated like an adult

The person:

  • Ideally you will have upwards of 18 months recruitment experience gained within professional services such as IT, accountancy, marketing, HR
  • A strong focus on business development as you must be able to build relationships as opposed to inheriting a warm desk
  • A strong team player who can look at the longer term objectives of a business and work in such a way as to benefit your team overall
  • Professional with integrity and a real focus on quality
  • A strong track record in recruitment and a stable career to date

A growing business that was set up two years ago by a high performing duo, who have already developed a leading contract plan and a reputation within the permanent market space for quality. They focus on the IT and Technology sector with a particular emphasis on programme management, business analysts, project managers, software and cloud. Currently a team of 4 looking to hire a further 2 consultants to enhance the team.

The role:

  • This role has a strong focus on new business development and so we are looking for a proven door opener
  • Working alongside either the head of contract or perm depending upon experience, you will map out your target market and be guided if you are new to this sector
  • Developing relationships across the UK with key clients within your chosen market
  • Attending regular networking events and building a social media presence
  • Working towards output targets as opposed to KPIs

 

The person:

  • We are looking for a recruiter with a minimum of 12 months experience – sector we are very open although professional services would be a huge advantage
  • You must be able to look at the bigger picture and view a start-up company as a positive as opposed to a risk
  • We are looking for someone who is keen to work in a small and close knit team and doesn’t need to surround themselves with a team of 10 plus recruiters to feel motivated
