Set up by two highly successful IT recruiters two years ago now, our client is looking to grow through hiring two new recruiters to their team. This is a business that has deliberately set out to be different from the big corporate feel where KPI’s are set loosely and recruiters are treated like grown-ups.

The role:

  • Working closely with the head of permanent recruitment to map out your market
  • Utilising intelligent and strategic business development techniques as opposed to cold calling
  • Building a talent pool of IT candidates across the South Coast
  • Networking and market mapping
  • Successfully delivering a recruitment solution that is tailored to the client’s needs
  • Running your own desk without the pressure of weekly KPIs – being treated like an adult

The person:

  • Ideally you will have upwards of 18 months recruitment experience gained within professional services such as IT, accountancy, marketing, HR
  • A strong focus on business development as you must be able to build relationships as opposed to inheriting a warm desk
  • A strong team player who can look at the longer term objectives of a business and work in such a way as to benefit your team overall
  • Professional with integrity and a real focus on quality
  • A strong track record in recruitment and a stable career to date

Circa mid £20’s basic with up to 30% commission

A growing business that was set up two years ago by a high performing duo, who have already developed a leading contract plan and a reputation within the permanent market space for quality. They focus on the IT and Technology sector with a particular emphasis on programme management, business analysts, project managers, software and cloud. Currently a team of 4 looking to hire a further 2 consultants to enhance the team.

The role:

  • This role has a strong focus on new business development and so we are looking for a proven door opener
  • Working alongside either the head of contract or perm depending upon experience, you will map out your target market and be guided if you are new to this sector
  • Developing relationships across the UK with key clients within your chosen market
  • Attending regular networking events and building a social media presence
  • Working towards output targets as opposed to KPIs

 

The person:

  • We are looking for a recruiter with a minimum of 12 months experience – sector we are very open although professional services would be a huge advantage
  • You must be able to look at the bigger picture and view a start-up company as a positive as opposed to a risk
  • We are looking for someone who is keen to work in a small and close knit team and doesn’t need to surround themselves with a team of 10 plus recruiters to feel motivated

Recruitment team leader – non billing

Recruitment team leader white collar built environment

Fareham

Package to £60k plus

A business that can boast year on year growth even through the 2008/2009 recession who are specialists within the white collar engineering market to incorporate design, building services, built environment, utilities. A great opportunity has arisen for a strong team leader to manage without the headache of your own personal target.

The role:

  • You will manage a team of around 5 experienced recruiters, who don’t need babysitting, but do require someone to lead from the front
  • Taking full responsibility for the budget for this particular area, you will drive business forward with regards to new client development and attending meetings with your consultants
  • Mentoring and developing new hires to the team
  • Picking up the phone and arranging meetings with new clients
  • Running regular 1-2-1 meetings with your team and assessing team and individual performance
  • Hands-on approach to management

The person:

  • You are most likely a senior consultant or team leader right now, ideally within white collar technical recruitment. Your biggest frustration is trying to manage a team and also worrying about your own monthly targets – which is more important!
  • A strong background and understanding of white collar technical recruitment is ideal, perhaps structural engineering, building services, built environment, oil and gas, design, MEP etc
  • A strong business developer who can demonstrate new client wins and be able to talk the process through at interview
  • Ambitious, perhaps looking for an opportunity to take on a team and to grow further with longer term aspirations of a director role
