With over 15 years established in the market, they are a fully consultative recruitment service for professionals within Engineering & Technology, Information Technology and Communications, Cards & Payments, Field Service, Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality and Manufacturing & Production.

The role:

  • Working alongside the Managing Director developing existing and new accounts.
  • Creating a fully functional network of clients and candidates through platforms such as Linked IN and others.
  • Generating via well worded adverts new fresh candidates.
  • Lead generating from existing candidate relationships and new.
  • Attending any relevant events that will continue to raise the company profile and generate PR.

The person:

  • Previous recruitment experience, working a technical market.
  • Be able to demonstrate a solid work history supported by billings.
  • Wanting to work for a small but very well established boutique agency and able to self generate work.
  • Have a strong work ethic with ambition to drive your career.

A recruitment client of ours who specialise in technical and professional recruitment consultancy with a focus on delivering high quality solutions for engineers and IT specialists.

The role

My client works with a range of customers delivering permanent and contract staff to industries including the automotive, aerospace and power sectors. They are growing rapidly and are now looking to further expand the team with a Trainee Recruitment Consultant.

The role is focused around telephone and face-to-face sales and relationship-building, and full training and mentoring will be provided by their highly experienced management team. Their training and support programme will assist the successful candidate in developing a sustainable client base in a specialised market, and provide a solid foundation for a fantastic career in recruitment.

The career-development potential for the right calibre of candidate is superb offering an excellent commission package in addition to a basic salary and benefits. The on-target earnings potential in year one is £27k+, and their commission scheme is uncapped.

The person

The successful applicant will have the drive and determination to succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where the staff are their strongest asset, and a strong work ethic is essential. A degree is advantageous, but applications will also be considered from non-graduates.

The role:

Your role will focus on assisting with recruitment campaigns by sourcing and speaking with candidates along with hitting company targets set in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advertising:
    • Assist in creating job adverts for publication to online job boards
  • Selection of best candidates:
    • Reviewing of applicant CVs to determine if they meet the criteria the client has set.
    • Contacting candidates that respond to adverts to discuss roles over the telephone and via email.
    • Proactively searching for candidates on various internal and external data pools
    • Conducting telephone interview with candidates to assess suitability
  • Presentation of applicants:
    • Preparation of CVs in readiness for transmission to the hiring organisation.
  • Assistance in the interview process:
    • Organisation and confirmation of interview details
    • Interview feedback
    • Offer negotiation
  • Administration of vacancy applications.

 The person:

 

  • Articulate with good written and verbal communication
  • Excellent telephone manner and confident on the telephone when liaising with candidates / clients
  • Professional and hardworking approach and flexible to work outside standard hours (if needed)
  • Experienced user of Outlook & MsWord
  • Highly organised and have a good attention to detail
  • Ambitious and self-motivated
  • Preferably educated to A level or degree level.
  • Happy in a target driven environment.
