The company:

We are working with a client based in Portsmouth who we have now partnered for over 10 years and can provide evidence of placing a number of key personnel within their business. They are now looking to hire a number of trainee recruiters within the following market sectors:

  • IT and Technology
  • Procurement and supply chain
  • Engineering
  • Electronics and software
  • Marine and shipping
  • Medical and nursing
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Social care

The role:

You will receive full training as part of a new trainee academy, that will teach you all aspects of the full 360 recruitment role from how to win a vacancy through to sourcing and selecting candidates and then closing and delivering job offers. You will work closely with a senior director and will then be paired up in a buddy system where you will receive continuous on the job training and development. It’s a great environment, you just need to be committed to transferring your sales skills and you certainly can’t be phone shy.

The person:

So far we have placed candidates on to the academy who have worked in car sales, software sales, leisure and fitness sales, telecoms sales and also estate agency. To be honest, it doesn’t matter so much what you have been selling, it’s more about your willingness to move in to a new industry and to be committed to make it work. We will also consider 2016 and 2017 graduates who can demonstrate either sales or customer service skills through jobs held whilst studying at University.

It’s a success story and we are looking for trainee recruiters to join him on his continued journey to all things great!

The role:

  • You will act as the vital link between clients and candidate
  • Using your sales and marketing techniques to network with and attract new business from clients across the EMEA region
  • Attending tradeshows and visiting client’s offices to build relationships with hiring managers
  • Developing an understanding of your clients, their industry and their culture and environment in order to sell the brand to the market
  • Using a variety of social media platforms to advertise positions, attract candidates and build a strong network
  • Adapting a headhunting approach to ensure that you reach those passive candidates
  • Building strong candidate sourcing skills using job board and websites to find suitable applicants for live roles
  • Ensuring that you full prepare your candidates and ensure that you gain commitment to their interest in the role
  • Managing the entire recruitment process through taking your candidates along the interview journey and updating them on feedback
  • Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates places

The person:

  • Whilst previous sales would be great so that you know the sales process and can demonstrate success, we will also consider applicants with experience in marketing and even customer service if you can demonstrate the right attitudes and behaviours
  • A goal-orientated approach to your work and career

The role:

  • Joining a team of 2 recruiters who focus on placing permanent candidates in to the interior design sector across the UK
  • Initially focusing on candidate sourcing to learn your market sector, you will eventually look to build your own portfolio of clients within a specified area
  • From day one you will have the benefit of being able to work on lots of  existing clients and roles
  • Understanding the art of recruitment and gaining an indepth knowledge of your industry market sector to gain credibility with both clients and also candidates

The person:

  • Ideally you will be a 2016 /2015 graduate with exposure to some form of sales or customer service
  • A design or creative degree would be of huge advantage but is not essential
  • Alternatively you may have been working in sales for a couple of years and are now looking to move in to a dedicate career focused on solution as opposed to product sales
  • Excellent communication skills with a softer approach to sales and not a hard nosed style
  • Willing to listen and with a desire to learn

Over 10 years ago, two individuals got together and decided to set up a construction agency like no other. Fast forward and they can now boast an office network across the UK and a highly successful permanent team of 7 consultants focusing on the white collar construction market. Due to growth only, they are now looking to add a further two consultants to this team.

The role:

  • Building up your own desk of clients in a specified geographical patch, working closely with the permanent director initially
  • Focusing on candidate generation and sourcing in what is a candidate led market place
  • Using proactive headhunting and sourcing methods to find hard to reach candidates as opposed to relying heavily on job boards and adverts
  • Setting up and attending face to face meetings, initially with your director, to build long term relationships with industry professionals
  • Focusing on working towards achieving a monthly target of £10k with clear goals to achieve senior consultant status

The person:

  • You may have some recruitment experience or alternatively you could be a strong sales professional looking to get your first step on the recruitment ladder
  • We are looking for confidence, but not arrogance, and a strong communication style
  • As an individual you must be thick-skinned and able to handle knock-backs with a resilience to bounce back
  • Ambition is key as this team will continue to grow and will be looking for the future leads as they build a team of leaders to support the growth moving forward
  • A car driver is essential as there is a heavy focus on face to face meetings
